The 411: Something To Think About When Eating Out...

A few months ago, Good Morning America did an experiment of 12 restaurants in 3 states to determine which tabletop item harbors the most bacteria. Guess which item was found to be the most germy (is that a word?)? Ketchup? Mustard? Salt? Pepper? Sugar? Menu?

If you guessed the menu, you are right. It's somethng everybody touches and rarely gets cleaned. The menus were found to contain more germs and bacteria than a public toilet seat! Disgusting! (There aren't too many things that disgust me more than a public toilet.)  Please remember this when your cute kiddo is sitting there licking the menu or sticking it into his/her mouth!  Here's the link to the study, in case you're interested.  I hate germs!
